街を生きる犬の主人公を描いた4部作「SLIPPIE DON'T SKATE」の3作目、"Hamburger shop"(ハンバーガーショップ)という作品です。映画、レコードジャケット、現代美術、小説など、様々な分野から引用したイメージの断片をコラージュのように配置して一つの空間を構成しました。"ハンバーガーショップ"とは、この街では悪質な夜のお店のことを指し、具材ひとつひとつが入ったガラス張りのオブジェは(左上)それらが高額なオプションであることを示しています。この作品では、何も知らずにハンバーガーを頼んだスリッピーが身ぐるみを剥がされてぼったくられてしまうシーンが描かれています。またこの店で働いている3人の女性たちは、自身の作品 "Something like a hole, not a crack"に出てくる人物でもあります。

This work, "Hamburger shop" is the third in the four-part series "SLIPPIE DON'T SKATE," which tells the story of a dog who lives in the city. This is a collage of fragments of material from various fields, including movies, record jackets, contemporary art, and novels, arranged in one space. "Hamburger shop" refers to a notorious night establishment in this city, and the glass objects containing each ingredient (top left) indicates that they are expensive options. This work depicts a scene in which Slippie, who unknowingly orders a hamburger, is stripped of all his clothes and ripped off. The three women who work in this shop are characters who appear in my artwork "Something like a hole, not a crack."
